Who’s the director of the theatrical F9?

Daniel Casey will write the screenplay for Fast 9, which will be directed by Justin Lin, who previously directed The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, Fast & Furious (the fourth), Fast Five, and Fast & Furious 6. What’s the amazing, super iconic cast look like?

Dominic Torretto

You are going to see the return of the core family. The robust actor Dominic Torretto is back, and Michelle Rodriguez reprises her role as his wife Letty Ortiz. Tyrese Gibson and Ludacris, the motor mouthed comic duo, will also return.

Jordana Brewster

Fans of the Fast and Furious franchise will be ecstatic to hear that Jordana Brewster, who plays Mia Torretto, Dom’s sister and wife of Brian O’Conner, will be returning to the series after taking a break for The Fate of the Furious.

Sung Kang

Fans will be overjoyed and pleased to hear that Sung Kang, who plays Tokyo drifter Han Lue, will return from the dead, as he was killed off right at the start by former villain Deckard Shaw. Justice is done – we guess. Assuming he’s been hiding all this time! Do we really believe that these films’ continuity is so important? Have you ever felt your brain dribble out of your ears like liquid NOS while looking at the movie’s timeline? Let us not forget that Letty was dead for the whole film! We were all pleasantly surprised when writer Chris Morgan said cryptically that justice for Han “is coming,” and we were all surprised to know that it’s happening so soon.

Nathalie Emmanuel from Game of Thrones

You might recognise a few faces from F8: hacktivist Ramsey, played by Nathalie Emmanuel from Game of Thrones, has joined the family.

Sure, big fan, but is there someone we don’t know?

And he’s playing Torretto’s younger brother? Okay, that’s it. He’s a bad guy, as seen by the fact that they get all mad in the trailer and then one of them throws a car at the other.

Cardi B?

The fan favorite, the hot and sexy Cardi B is also in it. And that is something we all are looking forward to.
