Dusan Vlahovic’s summer transfer to Chelsea is being considered?

According to reports, Chelsea plans to look into a summer transfer for Dusan Vlahovic, a striker for Juventus.

Even though Chelsea signed Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson in the summer, they were connected to new strikers during the previous transfer window.

But in the end, the winter transfer season went by without the Blues completing a single acquisition in what turned out to be a somewhat quiet market for the Premier League overall.

Rather than bolstering their offensive options, Chelsea let Armando Broja sign a one-year loan with Fulham, their neighbours in West London.

The Blues are anticipated to sign a new striker before the 2024–25 season, while it is unclear whether Broja will stay at Stamford Bridge in the long run.

Tutto Juventus claims that Chelsea is debating whether to make a bid for Vlahovic in the summer transfer window.

Chelsea is said to have made an offer for the 24-year-old last summer, but it was not as high as what Juventus was demanding.

At the conclusion of the season, the Blues would need to shell out a substantial sum of money to acquire Vlahovic, as the Italian powerhouses are said to be seeking at least £90 million.

The Juventus attacker may also face competition from Atletico Madrid, a Spanish team that has been reported to be interested in Mauricio Pochettino’s team.

According to a different source from TuttoMercatoWeb, Vlahovic’s existing contract would cause problems for Juventus.

Under contract until June 2026, Vlahovic’s income is scheduled to automatically climb from €8 million (£6.8 million) to €12 million (£10.5 million) in the summer. However, because of the club’s financial circumstances, they are unable to give him the hike.

Rather, the Serie A team is eager to extend his present contract while adding incentives and a lesser salary boost.

The Serbian international, in the meantime, has been playing well lately; in his previous five Serie A games, he has scored six goals.

This season, Vlahovic has scored 12 goals overall in 21 league games for Juventus; only Lautaro Martinez of Inter Milan has scored more goals in the Italian top division.
