Gabriel Jesus of Arsenal pledges a new’mindset’ in an effort to score more goals.

Gabriel Jesus of Arsenal, who shone in the Gunners’ 2-1 victory against Nottingham Forest, intends to change his “mindset” in order to pursue more goals.

The Brazilian striker opened the score in the 65th minute and set up Arsenal’s second goal for Bukayo Saka seven minutes later. Saka overcame a knee injury to start for the visitors at the City Ground on Tuesday.

In 56 appearances in all competitions after leaving Manchester City in 2022 for a fee of £45 million ($57 million), Jesus has only managed 19 goals.

In addition, the 26-year-old, who has assisted in scoring goals for teammates, is resolved to focus more intently on increasing his personal total after helping Arsenal move up to second place in the Premier League standings ahead of their Sunday home match against leaders Liverpool.
“Sometimes it is all about stats, and sometimes it is all about watching the game,” Jesus stated.

“You can see me playing if you watch the game… It is not simple to reach 100 goals in the Premier League.

“Then, I score a lot for the national team and in the Champions League. As I said before, there are moments when I lose concentration on scoring goals, and that is my fault.

“So now, I think I change my mindset, and I will be in the box more, and I try everything to score.”
