According to The Athletic, the Premier League will notify Everton and Nottingham Forest that they may lose points for allegedly breaking the profitability and sustainability criteria (PSR).

Premier League clubs are allowed to lose up to £105 million in three years (£35 million per season).

Due to another infraction from the 2021–2022 campaign, Everton has already lost 10 points this season.
