Rio Ferdinand, a veteran of Manchester United, believes Arsenal should “go all out” for Alexander Isak, a striker for Newcastle United.

In order to help balance the budget, Magpies chief executive Darren Eales stated last week that the team might consider trading one of its marquee players.

This has made people wonder what Isak, Bruno Guimaraes, and Sven Botman’s futures hold.

Newcastle is one of the richest clubs in the world, although they are now constrained by financial fair play regulations.

Isak, who scored a goal against Manchester City on Saturday, has maybe been Eddie Howe’s best player thus far this season.

Although Isak was connected to Arsenal before he arrived at St. James’ Park, he would be a fantastic addition, and it’s not certain if Newcastle would be willing to transfer one of their most valuable assets to a Premier League competitor.

If Arsenal made a bid for the Swedish striker, the Geordies would likely demand more than £100 million, but Ferdinand believes the Gunners should take a risk.

“Alexander Isak was consistently falling behind [against City],” Ferdinand stated on his podcast FIVE. “I’m going all out to buy him if I’m Arsenal.”

When asked how much Isak may cost, Ferdinand answered, “Why? They are unable to spend Regarding [profit and sustainability regulations], they are having difficulty.

“I believe he needs to make one more jump before joining a team like Real Madrid.” I observed that before they may purchase again, they must sell somewhere.

Howe, who is a huge supporter of the 24-year-old, stated that he can succeed at the highest levels following Saturday’s defeat to the Cityzens.

The Newcastle manager stated, “I think he can go on to achieve incredible things in his career.” “He’s capable of so much more.

He’s probably returning to full fitness, but I wouldn’t say he’s there yet. Although he has struggled with injuries this season, his past two games and the goals he has scored give us a true idea of what he is capable of.

“In my view, he is the true all-around striker.”

“Alex is an outstanding individual,” Howe continued. He had the greatest calibre of goal, and I was really impressed with his performance all around. He seemed like a threat all the time to me.

“He demonstrated his ability to run, connect plays, and finish.”

“We could have made the difference for us, so I’m just disappointed that we couldn’t put him in more risky situations in that second half.”
